The word diamond comes from two Greek words: "adamas" (indomitable) and "diaphanes" (transparent). Since the "Naturalis Historia" of Pliny the Elder (AD) the diamond was considered the hardest stone and therefore acquired a symbolic meaning related to its properties. For the ancient Greeks and Romans diamonds represent the tears of the gods and fragments of falling stars. Hindus even embedding the diamonds in the eyes of some of their statues. According to tradition, the diamond has the ability to dissolve spells or reveal the truth, but can be lost forever this property if it was used improperly.
The diamond has in itself all the strength, purity and perfection of the
Divine Light. Promotes greater control over their actions, moods and his own
existence, helping to more easily overcome critical conditions and bankruptcy.
