Jofri is both a cultural and commercial project,
aimed to spread the knowledge and the experience of the Italian goldsmithery,
especially the masters linked to the Venetian tradition, by selling hand-crafted jewelry through its on-line channel.
Jofri was founded in 2005, through the opening of a
jeweler's boutique in Trieste
, a
city that, like many others in the North-East of Italy, has always represented a bridge between the
nordic and Mediterranean culture thanks to its marked
cosmopolitan and frontier character.
A few years later, Jofri decided to
widen its offer and created its online jewelry stores, with the aim of opening not only a
showcase for its jewels but also a place for mutual exchange and communication between the firm and its customers.
. Our goal is to transmit to them the goldsmith competences which
have been accumulated in the industrial districts of Vicenza and Valenza Po,
with whom Jofri carries out deep and strong business relationships.
The aims of Jofri and its
website are mainly three:

Spreading the culture and
charm of Italian through the Internet, for everybody to see and buy
them, so that we can promote and foster small productions of artisanal and
handcrafted jewels and the activity of Italian jewelry designers, which would otherwise be available only by
visiting “physical” shops in Veneto region.

Guaranteeing the satisfaction of our
customers, through certifications warranting the quality of our
jewelry, payments, shipping rate and policies, and much more. We know that on-line
shopping is still not a habit for many of our clients, and we want to do
everything we can to help them while they are on our site.

Set relatively cheap prices. Of course we
recognize the importance and value of handcrafted jewel (they are not produced
on an industrial scale, and therefore are virtually unique pieces), but at the
same time we want to protect our customers through the absence of the channel
intermediaries and commercial markups, which usually burden on consumer
prices.
That is why we have decided to each and every customer of ours who registers here a 6% discount
on our entire catalogue, in order to spread on-line shopping,
which we believe is convenient for both sides, customers and jewellers.
Our
dream is to make a special place out of Jofri, a place of communication and where to share knowledge. The Internet.
